Patch test must be done to avoid allergic reactions

Health specialists recommend that people with allergic manifestations, especially against chemical substances should have a “Patch Test” before application in order to avoid allergic reactions.

Allergic reactions caused by materials such as silicone and filler may cause swelling and edema as an allergic reaction. If you allergic against chemical substances you must absolutely make “Patch Test” before the aesthetic application.

It is important to have aesthetic applications made by the plastic surgeons. If you want to be really beautiful, do not go to non-professionals for aesthetic applications by risking your beauty.

Substances like silicone and fillings, which are usually used for beautify, can cause contact allergies due to their being late-type reactions in the body.  Stents, prostheses and all chemical substances have the same characteristics. Allergy may come up in two ways: first is the early reaction and other is the late reaction. If it reacts immediately, it is early type. Late-type allergic reactions develop in the form of itching, redness and sores. Sometimes late-type reactions can occur in dentures, silicones, and these allergic reactions may show themselves as long-lasting inflamed lesions. Especially if an uncomplicated wound is encountered after an operation, the reason must be searched and the patient must be taken under observation.

If there are unhealed wounds after application such as silicone, it must be removed before setting forward to more serious diseases. In order not to be confronted with such results, health specialists emphasized that “patch test” should be performed before application which will show the allergies developing against chemical substances. The patch test is applied to the back region of the body and that the results are showed up within 48 to 72 hours.
