If you did not visit before, you should definitely go inside the cathedral and then step out 166 steps to reach the top. The magnificent view of Milan is worth the tiredness of the steps.

La Scala, famous opera house is at the top of the list of places to be seen. La Scala, which is Europe’s oldest opera house, was built in 1178 by architect GuiseppePiermarini. There is also an Opera Museum near the opera house. In Milan, art is important as well as design and fashion. It is possible to see the works of the artists we encountered in the art galleries. If you visit Santa Maria della Grazie Church, you can see Leonardo da Vinci’s famous Last Supper table. However, you have to make reservations a few weeks before your visit.

For luxury shopping, you can go to Via Della Spiga, Via Santa Spirito or Via Montenapoleone streets. You can have a cup of Italian coffee in stylish cafés located amongst the luxury boutiques. If you want to shop in bohemian boutiques, you must go to Corso Como.

Trattoria, a traditional Italian restaurant, that you can see many different types in Milan. But, before meals going to aperitivo is a tradition in Milan. Before dinner, the canapes are eaten with wine, martini or cocktails. 10 Corso Como, Trussardi, Ristorante La Briciola, Il Salumario Montenapoleone, Nobu, Ceresio7, Cipriani are the restaurants to go for a good meal and a fairy atmosphere in Milan.
