How healthy are the swimming pools?

The best way to get rid of the burning heat of the sun is relaxing in the cool waters of the pool. But, if the swimming pool you are using is not hygienic enough, you can easily have diseases that bind you to your bed. Then test the swimming pool to see if it is healthy and take your precautions.

Hotels and holiday villages are taking many precautions to protect their customers from diseases in their swimming pools. The swimming pools can turn into microbes if hygienic rules are not taken into consideration. But, how do you know if the pool you are entering is healthy? Here are 7 health conditions and tricky points to determine if the pool you are entering is hygienic enough.

1-Regular chlorination: Water needs to chlorinate 0.2-0.3 mg per liter every day. The ideal chlorine level in relation to the pH level may be regulated by using automatic systems. Flour chlorination can cause irritation and redness. Shock chlorination method is applied in heavily used swimming pools. But, this process should be done at least three or even 12 hours before entering.

It is very difficult to understand if the swimming pool you are entering is chlorinated regularly. You can ask the authorities whether or not an automated system is used. Also notice that if you smell sharp chlorine smell.

2-PH value appropriate: PH of our skin is around 5.5. Thus, the physiological value of the skin is maintained and the resistance against microbe is maintained. The pH value should be between 6-8.

3-Is it free from wastes: There are many foreign substances in the water such as microorganism, hair, sweat or oil. The process of removing these particles is called flocculation and filtration.

You can understand if the water of the pool is free from wastes by watching out for water clarity and checking for materials such as hair, hair, and oil.

4-Is recirculation of the water made? Pool water must be supplied from bottom and edges, water surface must flow through the grate. Thus dead spots are activated and purified from germs and wastes. All of the pool water must be changed within three days.

5-Are the pool walls clean? The most ideal is brushing with anti-algae materials. Items with chlorine or acid properties need to be cleaned every day.

6-Is there a pool to clean your foot?  Foreign materials have the risk of infection. Feet and slippers are a big factor. Foot pools using permanganate or chlorinated water are required for disinfection.

7-Ground hygiene: Cleaning the floor is important. If you walk barefoot in wet ground, the risk of getting caught in mushrooms that are wet is high. Do not walk without a slipper by the pool.

Failure to follow the hygiene rules may cause many diseases like ear infections, eye infections, fungus, herpes, and hepatitis A.
