Most of us were excited to see flying cars in the science fiction movies. We dreamed about whether it would be possible to get on a flying car before dying. And now the dream of most of us is up to be real. Perhaps you will be getting on a flying car before the end of this year.
These dreams are seem to turn into reality with the new generation car, Kitty Hawk’s Flyer, which is supported by Google’s founding partner, Larry Page. In a demonstration shared by Sebastian Thrun, the creator of the prototype of Kitty Hawk Flyer, the flyer is seen as lifting off over a lake with the help of small propellers under its base. The Flyer is working with a full electric engine. The device weighs only 100 kg. It has eight propellers and can carry one person. The Kitty Hawk Flyer, which can rise to a height of 4.5 meters, seems to make it real to travel by flying instead of land travel in the future.
According to the company, a pilot license is not required to fly with the Flyer. Kitty Hawk Flyer has a flight permission to fly in places that are not crowded under the ultralightweight category of the US Federal Aviation Authority. In fact, it is obvious that there will be security problems when the people start to use it. Kitty Hawk continues to work with the US Federal Aviation Authority to overcome these problems.
The CEO of the Alphabet, Larry Page is known for investing in crazy projects. He said in a statement to the Times that he was excited to be able to get into his Kitty Hawk Flyer and fly quickly and easily within a very short time.
