The Capital of the United Kingdom, London, continues to be the largest financial center of the world. London continues to be the world’s most attractive financial center of the world in front of New York, despite Britain’s decision to leave the European Union.
According to global financial centers index of the Z / Yen (GFCI), London was ranked the largest financial center of the world, by leaving New York, Hong Kong and Singapore behind.
Z / Yen ranks 92 financial centers according to the criteria like infrastructure, and access to high-quality workforce. In the survey made by Z / Yen, London became the largest financial center of the world by taking 780 points. New York took the second place with 754 points, and it was followed by Hong Kong with 744 points in the third place.
While Tokyo was ranked fifth in the list, Shanghai took place in the 6th rank, Zurich ranked in the 9th place and Frankfurt ranked in the 11th place.
