The unlikely trio sang “You May Be Right” at Madison Square Garden

Last night, Billy Joel brought out Miley Cyrus and Paul Simon at the latest installment of his long-running Madison Square Garden residency. The trio sang Joel’s 1980 single “You May Be Right.” Both artists had appeared earlier in the set, with Cyrus surprising the crowd by coming out to do “New York State of Mind.” Watch it happen below. Earlier this year, Joel brought out surprise guest Axl Rose for “Highway to Hell” and “Big Shot.” In 2015, Cyrus shared a cover of Simon’s “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover,” and on Friday, she released her new album Younger Now.
