They also played “Badlands” at the Invictus Games closing ceremony in Toronto

Bruce Springsteen performed at the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games in Toronto last night, and at one point, he was joined by Canadian singer Bryan Adams. Springsteen, who performed his own set, sang Adams’ 1983 hit “Cuts Like a Knife.” They also did “Badlands.” Watch it happen below. The Invictus Games, founded in 2014, is Prince Harry’s Paralympic-style sport event for wounded servicemen and veterans. Springsteen has previously covered “Cuts Like a Knife” during a benefit concert in 2010. In October, Springsteen is set to begin a residency on Broadway. He recently released an archival live album to benefit hurricane relief efforts.
