EBITDA

Hawkish vs Dovish

Hawkish refers to a central bank stance favoring interest rate hikes to control inflation. Dovish indicates a preference for low rates to stimulate growth.

Quantitative Easing (QE)

Unconventional monetary policy where a central bank buys government securities from the market to inject liquidity and lower long-term interest rates.

Yield Curve

A line that plots yields of bonds having equal credit quality but differing maturity dates. Its inversion is often a predictor of recessions.
